Texas DB certain about decision
Tyler, Texas cornerback Tommy Griffin is hearing from several schools around the south including New Mexico State, Houston, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Louisiana Tech.
The 5-foot-10, 195 pounder has received offers from all five of those teams and a few others, but those are the ones that he is considering right now.

“Right now my top three teams are Baylor, Oklahoma State and Louisiana Tech,” Griffin said, “and I will most likely commit to one of those three schools.“
"I visited Baylor this past weekend and I am visiting Oklahoma State this coming weekend. I will then visit Louisiana Tech January 4th. Then I will hopefully make my decision soon after that visit.”
“I really want to play for a winner,” Griffin said, “and I’m willing to sit out a year, as immediate playing time is not that important for me.”
Griffin’s team finished the year at 6-4. He had over 350 rushing yards and eight touchdowns from the runningback position. He doesn’t remember all his statistics from cornerback, but he did have seven pass breakups.
