Texas DB adds big-time offer

Houston St. Pius defensive back Tarence Farmer already had one BCS scholarship offer from Oklahoma State, but now he's got two big-time offers to add to his resume. This time the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has picked up a scholarship from the SEC.
"I got a letter from Tennessee on Friday," Farmer, an all-district selection in 2005, said. "I opened it up and it said they were offering me a full scholarship. I was really excited about the offer, since Tennessee is a SEC school."

So what does Farmer know about the Vols?
"I don't know too much about Tennessee," Farmer said. "But I do know they have one of the best stadiums and crowds in the NCAA.
Farmer earned all-district honors as both a sophomore and a junior and is the younger brother of former NFL running back and Arizona Wildcat star Clarence Farmer.
Oklahoma State was the first to offer him back in early May, and other teams like LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas and UCF are also involved with him.
