Texas City RB changing commitment

While Texas City (Texas) running back Johnny Thomas verbally committed to Oklahoma State in December, he owes it to himself and his family to check out his options.
The 6-foot-0 athlete visited Ole Miss last weekend and enjoyed his visit. He will be visiting TCU this weekend and will be officially visiting Arkansas the weekend before signing day.

"I'm committed to Oklahoma State," he said. "I'm just getting some advice from friends and family to take some visits."
Thomas has an in-home visit with Oklahoma State's Joe DeForest Tuesday night.
"He's really starting to get some interest," Texas City coach Tim Finn said. "It started off pretty slow and we were all pretty surprised about the lack of attention. Now it's really taking off after the season he had and we are excited for him."
Thomas rushed for over 1,700 yards his senior season en route to earning District 23-4A MVP honors. He is a 6-foot-0, 180-pound athlete that runs a 4.4 forty.
The selling point with Thomas is that he wants to play running back at the next level. He is being recruited as a defensive back by Oklahoma State after having nine interceptions as a junior at safety for the Stingarees.
