Crowley, Texas, cornerback Brandon Grandberry always dreamed of playing in the Big 12. But options like Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State weren't the right fit. Neither was his commitment to TCU.
That's why he's now heading to Kansas State after making an official visit to Manhattan.
"I had to make the decision that's the best for me for the next four years,'' Grandberry said. "I just want to compete at the top level and I feel like the Big 12 conference is the best there is.
"Competition-wise, it doesn't get any better than Kansas State and to be the best, you have to play the best."
And it looks like Kansas State is that place.
"It just felt right," Grandberry said. "It felt like home. I'm done. I'm committed to Kansas State."
