Texas CB not ready for the season

Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite cornerback Tarell Brown is not looking forward to the school year getting here.
Don't get him wrong, he's eager to get into his senior year. He's also eager to get back on the field and show his talents off.

"This recruiting thing is hectic already," the 5-foot-11, 178-pound Brown said. "I can't imagine what the fall will bring when they can call. I keep getting mail from schools all over. And some of them have offers in them."
Those offers have now reached 32 in number.
"I believe it was just last week that Florida and Florida State came through with an offer. They are the most recent. That makes it 32 offers I have. I am considering all schools still. I don't want to eliminate anyone at this point and time."
Brown is not favoring any school at this point and plans on taking his official visits this fall and winter.
"I will take as many of the trips as I feel I need to," Brown said. "I want to find the place I feel comfortable in and also a place I know I can spend my next four years playing football. If it takes all five for me to know that is the place then it takes all five."
Brown is receiving most of the recruiting attention for his cornerback skills, despite showing he can carry the ball as well.
"Most of them are looking at me for corner. A few have mentioned running back some, but I think for the most part it is cornerback."
During the 2000 season, Brown rushed for 1,178 yads and 14 touchdowns.
