Texas CB multi-talented

Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite cornerback Tarell Brown is being recruited as a corner, but he doesn't limit his talents to defense alone.
The 5-foot-11, 178-pound Brown is one of the top cornerbacks in the country and is receiving the recruiting attention to show it. But he could also play as a running back based on last season's numbers.

"Most of them are coming after me as a corner," Brown said. "That is fine with me. I enjoy it back there."
Brown currently has scholarship offers from nearly 20 schools.
"I like a lot of schools right now," Brown said. "But I'm not really narrowing my list down yet."
While Brown won't narrow his list down, several of the schools recruiting him are, Texas, Texas A&M, Penn State, Ohio State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and LSU.
"They've offered scholarships," Brown said. "There are others, but those are the ones I think of right now."
Brown did just return from an unofficial visit to Texas.
"I had a good time on my trip to Texas. I got to see the place and meet coaches. They showed me around and didn't try to force me to choose them or anything. I want to make sure I do the right thing and pick the right place."
