Texas CB headed to the Big East

Katy (Texas) two-year starter Terrence Frederick culminated his high school career with a Texas Class 5A state championship. His stellar play has also earned him a college scholarship offer from one BCS conference program.
"I verbally committed to Louisville during the break," Frederick said. "I'm going to take a visit there in January, but really like how enthusiastic the coaches and players are when I talk with them.

"When I first started talking with the coaches, I just felt like we had known each other for years," he said. "It wasn't forced."
The 5-foot-10 cornerback earned first-team, all-district and second-team, all-Greater Houston honors for his play during the 2007 season. He had eight interceptions, anchoring one of the area's stingiest defenses.
Coveted running back and teammate Aundre Dean will also be officially visiting Louisville in weeks to come.
