Texas CB headed to Big 12

DeSoto, Texas cornerback T.J. Bell decided playing more with his high school teammates wasn’t such a bad thing and he went ahead and made his collegiate choice.
“T.J. did commit to Oklahoma State,” Bell’s mother Terry said. “He just felt like it was the best place for him to go to college.”

Stillwater and the Oklahoma State campus won’t be unfamiliar to the 6-foot, 175-pound Bell since his older brother, Tatum, just finished his career with the Cowboys.
“I think part of his decision was based on his familiarity with the school and the program from Tatum playing there that let him feel good about the choice,” she said. “He went up to their camp and came back feeling sure that was where he wanted to go.”
Bell joins DeSoto teammates, linebacker Bradley Barree and running back Kevin White as members of the Oklahoma State Class of 2005.
