Texas CB adds two more offers

Lancaster, Texas cornerback Chad Washington already has three scholarship offers in hand.
“I have three offers already,” the 5-foot-11, 192-pound Washington said of the recruiting process so far. “Missouri, Baylor and Texas A&M have all offered me. I’m not really close to a decision at all. All three are good schools and have a lot to offer, but I just want to see what all is out there.”

Washington is also being recruited by Kansas State, SMU, Purdue, and Iowa.
“I’m getting quite a bit of mail all the time,” he said. “I’m getting quite a bit of camp information and stuff about the schools. I am going to go to the Nike camp at College Station for sure. That’s all I know of right now. I may try and get to some others.”
Most of the schools recruiting him are looking at him as a defensive back despite his playing running back as well in high school.
“They are all recruiting me as a corner or a safety. I don’t care, I just want to play. It doesn’t matter where they put me.”
He also is not favoring any school despite the three offers to date.
“I do not have one favorite school. I wouldn’t mind staying in the state, but I am really open to about anything right now.”
