Texas back likes first official visit
Dominique Owens, an all-purpose back from Sugarland (Texas) Kempner, took his first recruiting visit to Texas Tech this weekend. So what did he think?
Owens came away pretty impressed after the visit and said the Red Raiders moved up on his list after this trip.

“It was a really good visit,” Owens said. “Coach Leach is real nice, and I got a chance to see the team practice.”
Owens also enjoyed the campus and the city of Lubbock.
“I liked the Christmas lights all over the town,” Owens said. “I could probably see myself going there.”
Owens will have a few weeks to think about recruiting before he plans to take visits to LSU and Oklahoma State in January.
