Texas athlete wants Pac 10 offer

Colleyville (Texas) Heritage two-star athlete Cameron Davis has picked up his first scholarship offer, according to his father, Alan Davis.
"Baylor has offered him," Davis said. "But we're taking a visit out to Stanford this weekend, and we're hoping to get an offer from those guys out there, too. He's getting good looks from Stanford, Baylor, Duke and Columbia because of his great grades.

"He's up for the national merit, and he would love to go to Stanford. That's something he's really been striving hard to get. We're hoping he impresses Jim Harbaugh when we're out there."
At 6-foot and 174 pounds, Davis is a solid athlete.
He tested extremely well at the NIKE Combine earlier this spring. He clocked a 4.65-second time in the 40-yard dash, along with a 4.29-second shuttle and a 33-inch vertical leap.
Davis is the younger brother of Oklahoma defensive end Alan Davis.
