Texas athlete receives coveted offer

Houston (Texas) Yates athlete Orie Lemon has had the Texas Longhorns as the early favorite and now he has the offer to go along with it.
Though Lemon has said in the past that if the Longhorns offered it would be tough not to commit, the 6-foot-2, 218-pound prospect is holding off on the big decision.

"I've only got the one offer from Texas," Lemon said. "They offered last week but I'm not committing anywhere right now."
Lemon has also expressed interest in Arkansas, who is recruiting him as a quarterback, and Florida State. Though he's not ready to name his choice, he admits the Longhorns, with an offer, are above the rest.
"Well I went to their junior day last month and really liked what I saw there," Lemon said. "I'm going to head to their camp too but I'm not sure of any others."
This member of the evaluation period Rivals100 is just looking for a place close to home and wants to make it known before fall begins.
"I'll make my decision before the season gets started," Lemon said. "I want to have that all taken care of early so I don't have to worry about it. It's all about finding a place with good coaches that fits me the best."
Lemon plans on attending the NIKE Football Training Camp in Fort Worth, Texas on April 23.
