Texas athlete looking out of state too
Garland, Texas athlete Deandre Jackson has his eye on several school and being outside of Texas appears to be a common thread.
"Right now I still like Texas A&M a lot," Jackson said. "But I'm hearing from several schools outside the state, too. Florida, Iowa, Colorado, Oklahoma, Penn State, West Virginia and Arizona State."

The 6-foot, 180 pound Jackson is looking forward to getting back on the field. "I missed all of last year with an injury so I'm eager to get back to playing."
As for what he's looking for in a school, Jackson started with the distance from home. "It won't really matter that the school is close or not to home. I want to get a good education and a good football program."
If Jackson had to choose five schools right now, he started with the Aggies. "Texas A&M, Iowa, Colorado, Oklahoma and Penn State if I had to. I don't want to limit myself though."
