The schools that made the final cut for the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder are Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Texas Tech and Texas A&M.
“Those are the places he wants to set up official visits too,” the elder Walker said. “I don’t know that he really has a favorite, but I can’t speak for him.”
Walker, a quarterback on the high school level is being recruited for that spot by all but one of them according to his father.
“Everyone except for Purdue is recruiting him as a quarterback. They are recruiting him as a receiver or athlete.”
Walker has not set a date for a decision.
“I know he wants to try to take the visits as early in the season as he can and then make a decision. No date has been set for a choice.”
