Texas ATH takes first visit

Waco, Texas athlete Robert Johnson took his first official visit of the year this weekend.
"I went to Kansas State this weekend," the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Johnson said. "Everything on the visit went really good. It was real nice. Actually it was better than I expected. It's not that I thought it wouldn't be much, it was just really nice."

Johnson had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Wildcat quarterback Ell Roberson.
"Ell explained a lot to me. He told me how the offense was made for players like him and me. He is a lot the same type of quarterback I am. That type of an offense works will with that style of a quarterback."
Johnson still has two visits left before a decision will be coming.
"I'm going to visit Arkansas on Jan. 10," the No. 11 rated athlete said. "I was set for Nebraska for Dec. 20, but that has to be rescheduled. The players and coaches are leaving the day before that for their bowl game. So I'm looking at some time in January."
