Texas ATH schedules first visit

Houston (Texas) Westside athlete R.J. Jackson has taken several unofficial trips, but he is now beginning to line up official visits.
“I have scheduled a visit to Florida for the weekend of Jan. 7,” the 6-foot, 197-pound Jackson said. “That’s the only visit I have set. I’m looking at several schools for my other visits. I’m looking forward to seeing Florida and learning more about them and their school.”

Still high on the four-star athlete’s list is Oklahoma State.
“Oklahoma State is right up there, still,” he said. “Texas is still up there too. They have a lot of positives. I know a lot of people there and the coaches are doing a good job.”
The other schools on Jackson’s radar are LSU, Houston, Miami, Georgia and TCU.
Through Jackson’s first five games, he has helped lead his team to an unbeaten record.
“We have been doing really good on offense. I’ve scored eight or nine touchdowns rushing, I think. I haven’t played a whole game for a little while. We have been getting ahead a lot early and we get out of there. I’ve been playing at cornerback, too and I’ve got three interceptions so far this year.”
