Texas ATH returns from first trip
Dallas (Texas) Kimball athlete Patrick Thompson took his first official visit this weekend.
"Patrick is still on his way home from Kansas State," Lowanda Thompson, the mother of the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder said. "He and his father are driving home. They'll be here late."

Mrs. Thompson did have the opportunity to visit with her son about the visit some.
"They really enjoyed it. He said he had a good time doing everything. And he's excited about the opportunities there. But no commitment has been made."
Thompson will take a couple more visits at least before making a decision.
"Arizona State wants us to come out and see them. We don't have a date set though. Texas Christian would like us to visit them too. We were scheduled to visit Texas A&M next weekend (Dec. 13) but that was before the staff changes. We haven't heard anything from the new coaches yet."
