Texas ATH puts up big numbers

Leander, Texas athlete Josh McKinley, the quarterback for his high school team hasn't had a problem so far this season. In just two games, he's racked up stats and shown his stuff.
In the first game of the season, McKinley led his team to victory by going 12 for 15 through the air with 289 yards and four total touchdowns. The second game was a loss and McKinley says he isn't quite sure of his exact stats. Regardless, his recruitment continues to rise as he performs well throughout the season.

"Nothing has changed with recruiting, but I've got a visit set up now with Purdue," McKinley said. "It's going to be Sept. 22."
McKinley says he'll make a commitment mid-season or toward the end of his senior campaign. As for other visits, he's unsure of those at this time.
"I'm looking at a few like Colorado State and Missouri for those," McKinley says. "Missouri hasn't offered, but they've been talking to me about doing so and they tell me they're interested."
McKinley has offers from other schools such as SMU and UTEP.
