Texas ATH pulls the trigger
Paris, Texas athlete Quin Ashley may have not been the most talked about prospect over the last several months, but he had racked up a handful of scholarship offers before making his commitment this weekend.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder took an official visit to TCU this past weekend and has his mind made up.

"Yes sir, I'm going to TCU," Ashley said about his commitment. "First, as far as academics goes, that was my first priority. I want to major in business and they're known for that. Second, they have a great football team and I felt like it was the best place for me."
Ashley also held scholarship offers from Idaho and Colorado State.
"They're recruiting me as an athlete, but they say I'll start at quarterback," Ashley said. "If I don't play there, I would be a receiver or a safety."
Ashley says he's solid and won't be taking any other trips. He was an all-district selection as a junior.
