Sweeney, Texas, two-star athlete Shedrick Johnson has quite a few offers that he’s thinking hard about, but until his senior season is over, there isn’t much that’s going to break his train of thought on the gridiron.
“I’m not going to decide anything official until my senior season is over,” Johnson, who is 5-foot-11 and 178 pounds, said. “But I have been thinking a little bit about what schools I’m going to visit. I have one visit set up with Arkansas in January. I think I’m going to visit them on January 9 for sure. After that, I’m kind of up in the air.”

He’s up in the air with some good options to think about.
Johnson said Arkansas, Iowa, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Houston, Kansas and Rice have offered him scholarships. With the visit set up to Arkansas, one might think the Hawgs lead, do they?
“Arkansas is kind of up there on top,” Johnson said. “I really like coach Vaughn. He’s just such a really nice guy to talk to. I could see myself playing for a coach like that.”
Johnson is 5-foot-11 and 178 pounds. He is ranked as a two-star prospect by Rivals.com.
