Texas ATH been busy on the phone

Galveston (Texas) Ball athlete Roshawn Pope committed to Alabama about ten days ago. How have the last three days been since the NCAA handed down the penalties for the Crimson Tide?
"The phone has been ringing off the hook," Pope said. "Schools have been calling trying to get me to look at them. I've heard from Oklahoma State, Purdue, Houston, some junior colleges and lots of other schools."

So have the calls led to any looking for the standout from Galveston? "I'm still committed to Alabama. I knew the stuff was coming from the NCAA and I'm not surprised about it. I'm also not worried about it. I'm sticking with the Tide."
What about Pope's brother, five-star linebacker, Derrick Pope of Garden City (Kan.) Community College? "Derrick is still going to Alabama with me. He didn't visit anywhere this weekend that any of us know about and we talked to him on Friday."
