Texas ATH adding offers

Grapevine, Texas athlete Henry Melton has the ability to line up at several different positions for any one of the schools recruiting him, but he has his eyes focused on one spot.
“I really think I can be a running back,” the 6-foot-3, 260-pound Melton said. “I know I am quite a big bigger than most schools like their running backs, but I do think I can play the position and keep my weight under control.”

Melton has also played defensive end and tight end for Grapevine in past years.
“I know I can play other spots,” he said. “And I think I could do that if I had to, but I do think I can handle the running back spot.”
Melton has had calls from several schools at this point in May.
“Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Arkansas have all called,” he said. “I have scholarship offers from all of them. I really like what Texas A&M has to offer me at this point. I was up there earlier this spring. I enjoyed everything. I liked the coaches and the facilities. It was all pretty good.”
The Rivals100 member does still plan on trying to have his decision made prior to his senior year beginning.
“I would like to get it done with during the summer,” he said. “But, like I have said, I want to be sure when I pick one, so I won’t rush it just to get it done.”
