The Latest: Class of 2020 four-star lineman Marcus Dumervil likes to play things close to the vest when it comes to his recruitment, so he kept it to himself when he visited Texas A&M earlier this summer. Dumervil is on the Aggies radar thanks to Jimbo Fisher's Florida ties and thanks to some persistent recruiting, Dumervil wanted to see College Station for himself. Rivals.com caught up with Dumervil at the recent Miami Dolphins South Florida Media Day to talk about the trip and get his thoughts on the Aggies.

In His Words: "I took a trip to Texas A&M and that is the only visit I took over the summer. I was in Houston visiting family and I decided to make the trip up and see what Coach Fisher and the staff had going on. I hung out for the day and I liked it. It’s a great campus and they have a great alumni network for after football. I spoke with Coach Fisher when I was there. He’s a cool guy and we had a great conversation. I like his vision for the program."

Thoughts on campus: "It’s a very big school and I was impressed with the campus. They have a lot going on with Coach Fisher and they are re-doing facilities and they have the new staff and they are really working to make them great."

On positional fit: "They want me to come play offensive line for them. That program has produced a lot of NFL guys. It would be great to follow in their footsteps and have a chance to do the same thing. They say I can be one of the next big guys to come out."

Jimbo's efforts in Florida: "He wants to bring talent with him to Texas. Florida has the best athletes in the country so why not come get them?"

On quiet summer recruiting wise: "I decided to shut recruiting down and focus on getting better and have a big season. We have had a lot of conditioning and bonding and that’s been my focus."
