Texas 2007 duo ready to show off

CEDAR HILL, Texas - The talent train doesn't stop after the 2006 class at Cedar Hill High School because the crop of juniors coming up through the ranks could be even better.
It all starts on offense with a pair of offensive performers in wide receiver Romie Blaylock and athlete William Cole. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Blaylock is a blazing fast receiver who has that legitimate track speed that translates to the football field. His counterpart, the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Cole is an athlete with amazing ability that can really do it all.

"I've actually been playing quite a few positions," Cole said about his role at Cedar Hill. "I play wide receiver and running back. You know, size-wise I think I would be better at wide receiver, but I like getting a lot of balls at running back and that racks up the TD's."
Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Colorado, and UTEP have already identified Cole as a top junior target. A couple of those schools have caught his eye.
"I'm real interested in Oklahoma State and Texas Tech," Cole said. "Tech runs the same offense we do here at school and Oklahoma State is just a school I've always liked. Those are a couple of schools I've thought about already."
Blaylock is another dangerously fast wide receiver who is getting his fair share of college attention as well.
Most of the same schools that have been showing interest to Cole have been sending him quite a bit of attention as well. However, he's also getting some mail from Texas, Baylor and looks to have his first offer already.
"I believe I just got my first one from Houston," Blaylock said about the first scholarship offer. "Texas and OSU are two schools I'd like to see offer as well. We'll see if that is something happens."
Blaylock has even taken a couple of college games in this season. He doesn't just go for the atmosphere but rather he is checking out everything that specific teams do on offense.
"There are a variety of things I pay attention to when I go to games," Blaylock said. "I go to the games and look to see what kind of schemes they're running in the different offenses. That's what I do until I can start visiting campuses and stuff."
Cole would like to finish up his junior year with a few offers just like his teammate.
"I'd like to go into the spring with three offers," Cole said about his early recruitment. "Of course as a team, we just want to finish strong."
