The Oklahoma Sooners have snagged a commitment from the backyard of Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns.

“I got a chance to talk to coach Stoops today,” Thompson, a 6-foot-4 and 185-pound athlete/quarterback, said.
“My father and I really talked to him and got him to explain why he thinks I would be best at Oklahoma. In the end, we both just felt like coach Stoops and Oklahoma were the place and the people that we can trust.”
Thompson said his conversation with coach Stoops went over several topics, and that he got all of the questions that he wanted answered, answered.“I think I can come in there and contribute wherever they want me to,” Thompson said. “I’ll play quarterback, receiver or anywhere they want me to. I just want to do what is best for Oklahoma and what is best for the team.”
