Texan back from LSU
Sugarland (Texas) Kempner athlete Dominique Owens might be from Texas, but he said he sure could get used to living in Louisiana.
"I loved my visit to LSU this weekend," Owens, an all-purpose back that is 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, said. "We had a good time just hanging out with the fellas. I liked talking to the coaches, too."

Owens is still up in the air about a decision, though.
He said he's not leaning anywhere at this point and is looking hard at Texas Tech (Dec. 14), LSU, Mississippi State (Jan. 18) and Oklahoma State (Jan. 25).
"It's all about even," Owens said. "I need to take the rest of my trips to see what happens."
