Terry waiting for offers

Oftentimes East Carolina is the first school to offer prospects from the state of North Carolina, and that's the case with running back Damonte Terry. Could more offers be on the way?
The 6-foot, 190-pound back from Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland County rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns last year, and he's shown a good combination of speed, quickness and strength during his high school career.

"I've talked to coaches from Illinois, West Virginia, Maryland and South Carolina," he said. "The coach from West Virginia gave me a call but said they'd slow down because they don't want to blow their calls so fast.
"Maryland came by the school twice and they said they would offer me when I came up this summer.
"I was going to go to South Carolina and North Carolina too, but I don't have a favorite right now. Also, Illinois said they would try to go ahead and offer me, so he said he'd call me back sometime this week."
Terry said every school has been recruiting him since a solid performance at a recent combine.
As he is still waiting for more offers he will not likely make a decision in the immediate future.
