Terry plans to end up at NIU

Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood wide receiver Wonderful Terry knows which school he will be attending next year, but he will have to wait a bit longer than Wednesday to make it official.
"I am looking forward to going to NIU," Terry said. "I am not going to sign on Wednesday because I won't be here. After I take the (ACT) test on the 12th (of February), I plan to sign after that."

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect reaffirmed that he will be a member of the Huskies football team next year presuming his academics are in order.
"That is where I plan on going," Terry said.
He talked about a few of the reasons why he chose Dave Doeren's program.
"When I went on a visit up there it was like I was at home," Terry said. "The guys on that football team made me feel like I was already one of them. It felt like a good environment for me."
Coach Doeren and his assistants also made him feel welcomed when he was on campus.
"I liked all of the coaches," Terry said. "I met all of them. I got along with all of them."
Once he arrives on campus, Terry plans to contribute in multiple ways.
"I will play wide receiver and return kicks and punts there," Terry said.
Terry opted for Northern Illinois over Southern Illinois, Jacksonville State, and Jacksonville University.
