Terry adds Southern Miss offer, likes Boise

McDonough (Ga.) Eagle's landing cornerback Jevius Terry hasn't seen very many balls come his way this season, but that doesn't mean the two-star corner isn't still catching the eye of college coaches.
Terry recently picked up an offer from Southern Miss to add to list that includes Rutgers, Hawaii and UTEP.

"It's been kind of surprise," Terry said about the recent offer from the USM. "They've been talking to my coaches and they told me they were going to offer and when they did I was very excited."
Terry has also seen increased interest from Boise State, Troy and Clemson.
"I'm excited about Clemson," Terry said. "They have been talking to my coaches about me and they want to see my film.
Terry said some of the schools that first offered, like the Scarlet Knights, have backed off recently. Either way, he's not letting it put a damper on his excitement.
Up next, he's looking forward to scheduling some visits, but he's hoping to nab a couple more offers first. Terry said a call from the Broncos could throw a wrench in his decision-making process.
"If they were to offer they would jump right up there," he said. "That's a great program."
Right now, Terry said his top three are Southern Miss, Boise State and Troy. The Trojans have also yet to offer, but he believes they're close.
"I have a lot of interest in Troy," he said. "I really like their defensive backs coach."
Terry is planning on making a decision sometime in December or early January, and said that his array of offers have opened his mind to leaving the Southeast for school.
"I'm open to it," he said. "Especially if there's an opportunity."
