Terrell is Pac 10 bound

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton receiver Drew Terrell has made up his mind.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder told Rivals.com on Sunday that he has decided to go ahead and commit to Stanford, the school that had always been high on his list, along with Arizona State.

"I just committed to Stanford," Terrell, the No. 5 player in Arizona and No. 54 receiver overall, said.
"It's the place for me. The coaching staff is great. The academics are great. Coach Jim Harbaugh has the team on the rise. They have one of the top recruiting classes coming in.
"So the talent is coming in. I will have the opportunity to make an impact early on, too."
Terrell would be the 15th known commitment for the Cardinal in the Class of 2009. He becomes the eighth player ranked as a 5.7 or higher on the Rivals Rating Scale to commit to Stanford.
Terrell had scholarship offers from Arizona State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Washington State, Wyoming and Northwestern.
He said he still likely will take his other official visits, including a scheduled visit to Washington State for the weekend of the Sept. 26th.
"I'm going to Washington State still, and I'll probably will got to Northwestern, Vanderbilt and others," he said.
