Terps, Vols lead for OL

Kyle Mitchum might be ranked as the top offensive lineman in the state of Pennsylvania by Rivals.com, but Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt standout Jamie Thomas is clearly emerging as the fastest-rising offensive lineman in the Keystone State.
"Jamie is just dominating people left and right," said Bishop McDevitt head coach Jeff Weachter. "He's pancaking everyone and opening huge holes. He's also very solid in pass protection."

Schools have noticed as Thomas boasts offers from all of his favorites -- Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia, NC State and North Carolina.
"He's visiting Maryland and Tennessee for sure, I just don't know the dates," said Weachter. "Virginia will also get a visit and he'll probably take all five. We went down to NC State and UNC and he liked both of them so he wants to go back."
Thomas has an official visit set with Maryland for Nov. 13 and one with Virginia for Dec. 12. His Tennessee visit will also be in December most likely. Right now the Terps and Vols seem to lead.
"I know he likes both of them quite a bit," said Weachter. "But don't count out the others either. Everyone has a chance."
Thomas is ranked as the No. 40 offensive guard in the country by Rivals.com and No. 31 in the state of Pennsylvania.
"He should be higher," said Weachter. "He's the best lineman I've seen in PA this year."
