Terps, Devils standing out

One of the top linebackers from Virginia in the Class of 2013 is still waiting for his first ACC offer but two schools from the conference are already standing out.
No, it's not either in-state school from his home state.

This week Kanyia Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker from Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith, said Maryland and Duke are sticking out.
"Maryland has come down to see me twice," Anderson pointed out. "Duke came down and I've talked to them over the phone."
Anderson, who claims offers from Cal, James Madison and ODU, said Wake Forest, Penn State and UConn also stopped by Oscar Smith in the spring.
"I don't know what I'm going to be doing yet this summer," Anderson said. "I haven't planned any visits yet but I think something will come up.
"I'm trying to go to Maryland and maybe some others. I haven't really sat down and planned it out yet."
