Terps, Cavs lead for OL/DL

Although he's listed in the Rivals.com database as the No. 13 offensive tackle in the country, Elizabeth, N.J. star Carlos Feliciano would play along the defensive line in college if he had his choice. It also looks like he might end up playing in the ACC.
"Right now my two favorites are Maryland and Virginia," said the 6-foot-6, 285-pounder, who plays both ways in high school. "Maryland wants me as a defensive tackle while UVA wants me on the offensive line. I definitely want to play defense in college, but I can play offense if needed.”

In addition to the Terps and Cavs, Feliciano lists Boston College, Ohio State, Pitt and Iowa as teams of interest. He has offers from all six of his favorites and is looking for some specifics when it comes to choosing a school.
"The program's record and tradition will be important and I want to go to a school that’s been a consistent winner, not a one-year wonder.”
Feliciano wants to take his official visits before deciding, although he's already been to his two favorites.
“Maryland has a very nice campus. I also like their facilities, and they have a nice stadium," he said. "I visited UVA’s campus also, and I really liked it. It’s not in the city, but it has a city feeling. I think I’d fit in well socially, and get along with people."
Both Maryland and Virginia are recruiting him the hardest.
“UVA and Maryland have been with me the longest. Virginia and Rutgers were actually the first two writing me letters. I spoke with the Maryland coaches two years ago, when they were recruiting someone else from my school.”
As for a timetable for his decision, Feliciano thinks he'll be ready to commit in December. He was an all-conference selection on both sides of the ball his junior season as well as an all-county selection.
