Maybe Steven Jones knew what he wanted to do all along after all. After saying all along that he didn’t have a leader and was torn between his teams, Jones made a commitment this weekend after an official visit.
An official visit to Knoxville.
Jones selected Tennessee over Florida State and South Carolina who he visited the last couple of weeks.
And his commitment truly marks the end of his recruitment. Jones will graduate from high school in the next week and a half and will enroll at Tennessee in January to go through spring practice.
“They said I could play either on the offensive side or the defensive side,” Jones, a four-star selection that is 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, said. “They told me we would just have to see. I will play wherever they want me to.”
