THE LATEST

One of the more colorful personalities in the Class of 2020, Rivals100 Tennessee offensive lineman Chris Morris has done a great job of keeping people guessing about his future college home. Different programs have led at different times and he has even surprised by popping up at various college campuses without much warning. Morris has said that he could make a decision before the start of his senior year. So where do things stand? Rivals.com caught up with him to break down his recruitment, including the two schools that appear to be trending the most, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

IN HIS WORDS

Tennessee: "The reason why I picked them for my first official visit is because I had been talking with Bethany Gunn, who is their director of recruiting. We are really close. That's like my best friend. We're really cool and she had been wanting me to visit. We set it up last minute. When I was up there it just gave me a better chance to keep building that connection. I've been there a lot so I didn't see anything new, but I enjoyed the trip. They are coming up as a team and getting locked in. I had a chance to go to Coach Pruitt's house and meet his family and stuff like that. It was fun. You can actually see that he really likes his kids and he has a bond with them. It was good to see him outside of the office and just get a feel for everything."

Texas A&M: "I have a great relationship with the coaches there. I've been there a lot. You can see that a lot of people are going there. That means something. Jimbo has been doing a great job recruiting. Texas A&M is like my second home. I'm not saying that means anything for my decision, but really I have built a great relationship with the coaches. That means a lot to me and is a big reason why I'm still looking at them."

Additional official visits: "I'm planning on taking them to Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State and Alabama. Those are the other schools in my Top Five right now.

Decision timeline: "I know where I"m going to commit but I'm not telling anyone. But I'm going to announce at a game and it's going to be at the top of the stadium after they win the game."
