Tennessee still in on Harvey

Greenbelt (Md.)Eleanor Roosevelt defensive end Derrick Harvey was supposed to visit Tennessee last weekend, but decided to take the SAT instead. Will he visit this weekend?
"I don't think so," said the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder. "There's a chance I can make it, but more likely than not I won't. That doesn't mean they're out of the picture though. I really liked coach Fulmer when he came to my school, I like the coaches I've talked to and I've heard so many good things about Tennessee. They send a ton of defensive linemen to the NFL."

Would Harvey consider choosing the Vols even without taking a visit?
"Sure, they're in there," he said. "Obviously the schools I have seen on official visits are more familiar to me, but there are a few things everyone knows about Tennessee -- they always win and they produce NFL players. Those are two factors for me and the fact that I could play early there is important as well."
Harvey, the No. 8 player in the country as ranked by Rivals.com, is also considering Maryland, Florida and Ohio State.
"The Florida coaches were here yesterday and coach Friedgen is coming in tonight," he said. "The Ohio State coaches have also been in. I don't expect any more visits after tonight and I'll take the weekend to think things over."
Harvey will announce his decision live on ESPN between 4-5PM EST on Tuesday, Feb. 3 from the Washington, D.C. ESPN SportsZone.
