Tennessee star talks about visits

The nation’s No. 4 fullback has scheduled one official visit to LSU on January 23. But does Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star prospect David Holbert have an idea about where else he’s going to visit.
“I’m not really focused too much on recruiting,” Holbert, who is 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, said. “I do have that one visit to LSU set up, and I’m thinking about a few other schools that I’m going to visit.”

So who else is going to make the list?
“I’m going to visit UT for sure,” Holbert said about the Vols. “I’m also going to visit Oklahoma State and Wisconsin.”
Holbert has offers from Auburn, LSU, Louisville, Tennessee, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin, but he had never mentioned the Cowboys before as a team he’s interested in.
“They’ve always been there on my list, but I’m really interested in them now,” Holbert said. “They’re a lot like Wisconsin on my list and definitely will get visits.”
Holbert said he’s not racked up a ton of yards rushing this season, but his tailback that he blocks for has already rushed for around 1,000 yards. But Holbert does get the football when it’s near the goal line.
“I have 12 touchdowns,” he said. “But the most important thing is that we’re 7-1 and that’s what counts the most.”
