Tennessee star down to two

One
of Tennessee's top prospects may be down to two teams in the recruiting

race.
Nashville Hillsboro standout
Chris Russell, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast
Top 100 team and rated the No. 11 safety prospect in the
nation, says a pair of SEC teams will likely battle it out for his services.
"Right now, it's Auburn and Ole Miss," he said. "I
think Auburn may have a slight edge. I like the way they've been playing
this year, and I'm real comfortable with their coaches and people in their
program. Pretty much the same things I've been saying all along, only I have
it down to a couple of teams I really like.
"I just got off the phone with Ole Miss tonight. I
always enjoy talking to them, so they're still on my mind in a real positive
way."
Russell (6-2, 185, 4.45) is in the process of
setting up his official visits.
"I'll may just take those two (Auburn and Ole
Miss)," he said. "I may take three, but probably not all five."
Who's still in the hunt for the coveted third visit?
"Maybe Arkansas," he said. "They've impressed a
lot here lately. Not as much as the first two, though."
Russell has helped lead Hillsboro to a 10-0 regular
season. He's scored three touchdowns receiving and picked off three passes
on the defensive side of the ball.
