Tennessee QB makes decision

A big recruiting weekend at Memphis has netted at least two nice commitments for the Tigers.
Earlier today, Memphis Melrose all-purpose back Joseph Doss announced his decision to play for the hometown Tigers, and that was followed by one of the city’s top quarterback prospects.

“Yes, I committed to Memphis,” said Ridgeway standout Will Hudgens. “Everybody on my list was real close, but Memphis is home. This is where I want to be.
“That and the players were the biggest factors. While I was hanging out with some of the other recruits this weekend, I looked around and realized that almost all of us played in the same youth league together. I think we all have a good bond and the desire to help Memphis keep getting better.”
According to Hudgens, several of the players visiting this weekend gave commitments, but he declined to single out any of the others in favor of letting them make the announcements on their own timetable.
Hudgens (6-4, 200, 4.85) was also considering Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech.
As a senior, he passed for 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns.
