Tennessee OT likes Blacksburg

Three-star linemen recruit Garrett Reynolds out of Knoxville (Tenn.) Carter is back from his visit to Virginia Tech. So what did he think about his visit to Blacksburg?
“It was awesome, it was crazy and a great atmosphere. The coaches are cool and everybody gets along good. I just enjoyed being there this weekend and I had a great time.”

So how will the visit to the Hokies stack up against other teams?
“It’s going to be a hard one to beat, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.”
The 6-foot-7, 255-pounder has two more official visits scheduled with North Carolina on Dec. 3 and Nebraska on Dec. 17. He has also heard from Northwestern a lot in recent weeks.
Reynolds recorded 75 tackles and three sacks as he was one of the few bright spots on Carter’s 3-7 season.
The three-star recruit still doesn’t have a favorite and is currently set with the three schools he is visiting, but he may still be considering adding another visit.
“I’ve thought I may take a visit to Northwestern, but I don’t know if I will.”
Reynolds is the 14th best prospect out of Tennessee and the 51st best offensive tackle in the country.
