Tennessee OL sets two visits

Memphis (Tenn.) Christian Brothers offensive lineman Brandon Pearce has set up his first two official visits for his current co-leaders.
“Memphis and Ole Miss are my two favorites,” he said. “They’re pretty much neck-and-neck right now. I’ll be going to Ole Miss on Jan. 9 and Memphis on Jan. 16. I’m not too sure about the other ones yet, but I think I may go check out Arkansas State, too.”

Pearce (6-5, 250, 5.0) helped lead Christian Brothers to a 9-2 record this season, grading out over 85 percent in each game. He has scholarship offers from Memphis, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Arkansas State, and is drawing interest from Middle Tennessee and Chattanooga.
On Saturday, he went to Oxford to watch Ole Miss play LSU on an unofficial visit.
“It was a great atmosphere, great fan support there,” he said. “That’s one of the main things I like about them.”
Pearce has also been impressed by the direction of the Memphis program.
“I like those coaches a lot,” he said. “They’re all nice guys who seem to really care about their players. Same thing with Ole Miss. Memphis has a new training center that’s really nice, and Ole Miss is building one right now. There’s a lot of the same things I like about each school.”
