Tennessee OL adding offers

Cordova, Tenn., offensive guard Darius Myers has not been talked about as much as some of the other top offensive lineman in the Volunteer State this year, but he is quietly putting together a list of offers that is as equally as impressive.
“I have picked up offers from Florida, Tennessee and Mississippi State recently,” Myers said. “Oklahoma State, Auburn and LSU are some other schools that have been calling me pretty regularly, but they just haven’t offered yet.”

The 6-foot-4.5, 315-pound Myers ran a 5.31 second 40-yard dash at the Atlanta NIKE camp. He also ran a 5.62 second shuttle and had a 24-inch vertical jump.
“I have been to the Ole Miss-Memphis and the Mississippi State-Auburn games this year,” Myers said. “I am not planning on going anywhere this weekend, my stepdad handles all of that stuff. I still have not set up any official visits yet.”
Myers is nicknamed “IHOP,” which are the call letters of The International House Of Pancakes, because he makes so many pancake blocks.
“Right now I would say that Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Memphis, Auburn and Oklahoma State are my top six schools,” Myers said. “I would say that Tennessee and Florida are my top two schools right now. I am supposed to be going to the Ole Miss-Arkansas State game when they play.”
Myers is ranked as the No. 20 player in the state of Tennessee by Rivals.com.
