Tennessee DL adds two offers

One of Tennessee’s top defensive line prospects has added a pair of scholarship offers to his list this spring.
Memphis Christian Brothers standout Corey Mills (6-5, 260, 4.8) says Kentucky and Vanderbilt have now entered the race for his services.

“I’ve got six offers now,” he said. “I had offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Memphis and South Carolina before that.
“I don’t have favorite at this point. I’ve not really narrowed things down at all. I just want to see who all is interested in me, then try to check out some of these schools this summer and next year.”
He’s also receiving interest from Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Colorado, LSU and Mississippi State.
Mills, who projects as a defensive tackle or strong-side end, recorded 71 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks as a junior. His combination of speed, strength (360 bench, 505 squat) and academics (3.2 GPA) make him one of the top D-Line prospects in the South for 2004.
He plans to camp at Ole Miss and Florida this summer.
