Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) products Edwin Spillman and Kaleb Beasley, both four-star prospects, displayed their SEC-level talents in a recent 24-17 win over Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) last Friday.

Both have been longtime Tennessee commitments. Spillman gave his pledge to the Vols back on July 21st while Beasley has been a stronghold in Tennessee's 2024 recruiting class for over a year now.

Both shared their thoughts on the Volunteers season and their 2024 recruiting class with Rivals.com below.

ON TENNESSEE:

"I've been loving everything that I've seen out of the UT program. Their defense has been balling out and their offense has been balling out too. You've got a great fanbase, a great support base, and UT football, there is nothing like it. It's just been awesome to go and experience that."

"I love all of our boys that are already committed. Everyone just wants to see each other succeed and get better. We are all just supporting each other. I think we've got a really good group of guys who are ready to come in and work and show the coaches what their talents are and I'm really satisfied with the group of guys that we've got."

ON TENNESSEE:

"I feel like they are doing good and it's good to see. (My relationship with them) is still good. It's the same as when I committed. They hit me up everyday. I talk to Coach (Josh) Heup(el) every week and Coach (Willie) Martinez every week or twice a week with him. It's been going good and I'm trying to recruit more people to Tennessee."

Among the prospects Beasley said he's recruiting for the Volunteers include Rivals250 cornerback and current LSU commit Cai Bates, 2025 quarterback George MacIntyre, and three-star cornerback and current Vanderbilt commit Jaren Sensabaugh.
