Temple the latest offer for Ball

Three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton wide receiver Elijah Ball is just starting to approach his recruitment again, and he has a new offer to consider heading into the fall.
"I had my newest offer from Temple about a week ago," Ball said. "I had just started talking to that coach recently. They are definitely a team that is on the rise, I believe. I like the coach I have been talking to and I think their team really has something to prove this year."

The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Ball had several offers heading into his senior year, but Temple's tender has him looking closely at the Owls.
"I am definitely looking to attend a visit up there," Ball said. "I have to make sure I get that on my schedule and get with my dad and (mesh) with his schedule as well, but it is definitely a priority."
Ball started to see the college interest rise last spring, and he attended camps with several schools this summer. In the last couple months, though, recruiting has been on the backburner.
"I am trying to get back into talking with these coaches because I took a lot of time out of it and mainly focusing on the season," he said. "That's something I have to make sure I get back into without getting distracted."
Other schools that had previously offered Ball include Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, UConn, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Ohio and Western Michigan.
"I definitely get a lot of attention from Ohio. They send me letters every day and I really enjoy the coaching staff over there," Ball said. "There are other schools like Western Michigan and UConn. Of the offers that I've had, I feel those are the ones giving me a lot of attention right now."
Ball plans to take official visits before he makes his college decision. His Princeton team is 1-1 thus far in the 2014 season and Ball has recorded seven catches for 93 yards in those two games.
