Temple leads for Jersey LB

Wayne (N.J.) Wayne Hills linebacker Michael Fullam hauled in his first offer a couple months back from Temple. Since then the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder hasn't received another offer, but he did head up to the Elite College Combine recently to improve his stock.
"I went there and it went pretty well. I thought overall I had a good day," he said. "In the one-on-one drills no one completed a pass against me. I didn't get to take as many reps as I wanted to, but I felt like I showed the coaches there I have quick feet for a linebacker my size. I also ran a solid 4.69-second 40 in the drills. I was pretty happy with that."

Since the Elite, Fullam has been receiving a lot of interest from a variety of schools including Minnesota, Alabama, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State and Louisville. Does he have any favorites?
"I'd have to say my favorite is still Temple," he said. "I'm primarily favoring them because of the offer, but also I really like the coaching staff. Coach D'Onofrio and Golden are great guys and very knowledgeable of the game. I think they are going to turn that program around."
The Garden State prospect is looking for a few things out of his future home.
"One thing I'm really hoping for is the ability to stay in the Northeast. It's not a huge factor, but it would be nice," he said. "Besides that I definitely want a place I'm going to be able to play a lot of football. At the same time I want to get a good education and feel comfortable at the school. I also want to know that I'm being treated fairly by the staff there."
Fullam registered 90 tackles, 12 sacks and one interception as a junior. He went on to earn all-area, all-league and second team all-county honors.
This summer the linebacker prospect plans to attend two camps at Rutgers and Temple in June.
