Telfort favors six schools

When it comes to speedy defensive playmakers one of the top prospects in the Class of 2009 is Frankie Telfort. Telfort, from Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep High School, is one of the most wanted prospects. He has now narrowed it down to six schools – Florida, USC, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Stanford and Ohio State.
"That's my top six," Telfort said. "I was hoping to visit USC this weekend for an official visit but it doesn't look like it will happen. They have that big game against Ohio State and they are not let anyone visit them. They are not bringing in any recruits because they won't be able to spend any time with us. I understand. That game is huge."

Telfort and his teammates play Archbiship McCarthy on Thursday of this week. That's why he wanted to trip to L.A. only now he has to go to plan B.
"Well, we have a bye week next week so I am hoping USC is playing at home so I can go out there then. I really want to visit them."
Telfort has already seen Florida and Tennessee. He's very familiar with the Gators, as he has been to a bunch of games and saw them this past summer.
"Florida has recruited me for a while, since early in the 10th grade. I have been to six or seven games and been there to see the campus. I was there for the Miami game this past weekend. It was pretty cool. The fans are crazy.
"I am not sure if I will visit (officially) Florida or Tennessee because I have seen them. But I definitely want to see the other four schools – Ohio State, Stanford, USC and Notre Dame."
