Telemaque excited about final visit

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Vaughn Telemaque will take his 5th and final official visit this coming weekend to USC. The athlete loved his visit a week ago to Miami and it sounds like three schools lead the race at this time.
Telemaque, 6-2, 190 pounds is among the nation's top safeties and had a big senior season. He earned 1st team all-state honors and was a huge reason the Jackrabbits won the Pac 5 Championship, arguably the toughest division in the state this past year.

The safety has previously visited Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon and checked out Miami last weekend.
"I had a great time, the trip to Miami was even better than I expected," Telemaque said. "Miami is definitely in it right now and distance is not a factor at all for me. The coaches were cool and I really liked the guys on the team but the best part for me was meeting the head lady in charge of academics there.
"She stressed how important it was to get your degree and how confident she was that we would be successful there. That really made an impression and Dolphins stadium is one of a kind as well. Oregon was my best trip but I would put Miami right there as well.
"Now I have my last visit to my hometown school and I can't wait to check it out. This is going to decide my future here so I'm excited. I'm going in to this visit without a leader, I just want to stay open minded and give SC their shot.
"After this visit, I'm just going to sleep on things for a few days and then I plan to make my college choice next Thursday on Fox Sports. Who knows, after my trip this weekend, my decision could be easier than I first thought."
