Tech SMU extend offers to Henderson
Paris, Texas running back Jessie Henderson has been in attendance at two camps this summer and has scholarship offers from both schools.

“I’ve been to Texas Tech and to SMU for camps this summer already,” the 5-foot-8, 170-pound Henderson said. “I also have scholarship offers from both schools too.
“I enjoyed myself at both camps. I was able to talk to the coaches and some of the players. I really enjoyed meeting Coach (Phil) Bennett and the staff at SMU. They have a real nice place there. The facilities are very nice.”
Henderson had an equally nice time in Lubbock.
“The entire trip to Texas Tech was good. Things are heading in the right direction there with Coach (Mike) Leach. That would be a very good program to be a part of.”
Henderson does have one more camp he hopes to attend this summer.
“Arkansas has a camp next month that I’d like to get to if it works out. We’ll see how it goes.”
Henderson, who ran for 1,396 yards as a junior, hopes to have a decision out of the way before the fall semester begins at Paris.
“I’d really like to have it out of the way before this fall. That would allow me to not have to worry about it and I could focus on being the best running back I can be.”
