Tech offense suits Texas WR
Junior to Watch: Anthony Jenkins
School: Ennis, Texas

Position: Wide Receiver
Size and speed: Jenkins is a 6-foot, 180-pounder that has been clocked at 4.40 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Honors: Jenkins earned all-district honors as a wide receiver after being named second team as a sophomore.
Statistics: He caught 81 passes for 1,125 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Favorite Schools: Jenkins is being recruited by SMU, TCU, Colorado, Purdue, Iowa and Texas Tech.
Skinny: Jenkins enjoys offenses that spread the ball around the field. Right now, his sights are set on one Big 12 school.
"I'm still waiting for my first scholarship offer," Jenkins said. "But I am hearing from several schools. TCU, Colorado, Purdue, Iowa, Texas Tech and SMU are staying in touch with me by mail."
Jenkins plans to attend summer camp at SMU and TCU.
"I really like Texas Tech a lot," Jenkins said. "I really like the offense. It fits my style of play really well as a wide receiver the way they throw the ball around. A lot of receivers would like to part of that style of an offense."
